What God Has Joined Together Marriage is what brings us together today. Not just any marriage, but the marriage of Christ and the Church, the most incredible marriage of all time. I have been looking forward to writing this article ever since I wrote the first one in the dating series, yet now that the time has come, I find myself vastly underprepared. Marriage is such an important and serious subject that it can’t be taken lightly, yet humor is still to be found in the subject. It’s possible to take things seriously but still be able to have a sense of humor about it. When we approach this subject, there are many facets to consider, some of which are better written by someone else or at a future time. Instead, we will look at what marriage is, what model it is supposed to follow, and why it applies to all of us, whether we are single or married.
